Jas and Seb’s New Buckenham Wedding

Some weddings just radiate joy, and Jas and Seb’s was one of those rare days that felt effortlessly golden from start to finish. They were married at St Martin’s Church in New Buckenham, a stunning medieval church dating back to the 12th century and one of the most charming ceremony locations in Norfolk. The warm stone walls, arched windows, and soft natural light made it a dream setting for relaxed wedding photography. There’s something timeless about this place — it has that perfect mix of romance and character every wedding photographer hopes for.

Then came the confetti — a lot of confetti. The church steps vanished beneath a cloud of colour as guests cheered, laughed, and threw with total abandon. It was one of those moments that perfectly sums up why I love capturing documentary-style wedding photos — the real, unscripted joy that you just can’t pose for.

Jas looked breathtaking in her gown — a modern take on classic bridal elegance. The structured puff sleeves and fitted bodice gave her a striking silhouette, while the flowing fabric caught the light beautifully in every frame. Seb matched her energy effortlessly, looking sharp in a tailored linen suit paired with soft pastels and a floral boutonnière. Together they looked incredible — stylish, natural, and full of happiness.

The celebrations continued at The Gamekeeper in Old Buckenham, a rustic, character-filled wedding venue that hosted a party to remember. Good food, endless laughter, and a dance floor that stayed full until late into the night — it was everything they’d imagined and more.

As a wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better day to capture: relaxed, full of laughter, and bursting with genuine moments that tell the story of who Jas and Seb really are.
