Taylor and Aiden’s White Dove Barn Wedding

Taylor and Aiden told me early on that they wanted a relaxed, intimate celebration with natural photos and a real behind-the-scenes feel. As a Suffolk wedding photographer, there’s nothing better than stepping into a day built on warmth and personality — and White Dove Barns in November delivered the perfect setting for their autumn wedding.

The morning was calm and full of genuine energy. Hair by Leanne Moralee and makeup by Charlotte Newell matched the soft autumn light beautifully. Taylor’s dress from Pure Brides Norwich flowed with her every move, and Aiden’s lads looked effortlessly sharp in Moss Bros Norwich suits. That understated style suited the natural photography they wanted — nothing stiff, nothing staged.

White Dove Barns has this quiet charm that really comes alive in autumn. The florals from As Light As a Feather, crafted by Taylor’s mum Lorraine, brought lovely seasonal texture to the space. Many of the details were DIY’d by Taylor and the Mother of the Groom, giving the whole venue a personal, handmade feel that fits perfectly with relaxed wedding days like this. Their cake — lovingly made by family friend Tessa Payne — tied everything together with simple elegance.

Throughout the morning, Social Scenes blended into the background, capturing the candid, documentary-style moments Taylor and Aiden had asked for. Those little glances, the nervous laughs, the tiny details… exactly the kind of natural wedding photos that tell the real story.

Then came the moment that turned the quiet buzz into full celebration: the surprise performance by the Singing Waiter Company. Just before dessert, they burst into a 40-minute set that had guests on their feet in seconds. It was chaotic, hilarious and completely unforgettable — the kind of moment that makes a Suffolk barn wedding feel electric.

And of course, the smoke and flare shots. Taylor and Aiden had dreamed of this from the start. We headed into the fields at White Dove Barns, flares and smoke bombs in hand, surrounded by bridesmaids and groomsmen. As the colours erupted, they all charged forward through the haze, laughing and shouting. It created some of the most vibrant, natural images of the whole day — perfect for couples who love relaxed, fun wedding photography that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

As night fell, LG Entertainment’s Lee Gibling took over, and the dance floor went wild. A packed room, brilliant music and that unmistakable late-autumn warmth — a proper Suffolk party.

This White Dove Barns wedding was everything Taylor and Aiden hoped for: intimate, colourful, joyful and full of the people who matter most. Their request for honest, natural photos shaped the way I documented the day, and seeing their vision come alive — from quiet morning moments to smoke-filled laughter — was an absolute highlight of the season.
